Alisa Banks is a visual artist whose work addresses aspects of identity. She often incorporates fibers and found materials that reference traditional crafts. Her work has been exhibited throughout the US and in Canada, Laos, and the UK, and is in several private and public collections including the US Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Museum, and the New York Public Library.
Alisa received her BS from Oklahoma State University and her MFA from Texas Woman’s University. She lives in Dallas, TX.
