Glues
Note that like other aspects of bookbinding there’s no one way to make or use glue. See which works best for you.

Comparison of hot and cold water methylcellulose preparation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMSs-WsJYE0 - I’ve found that dispersion of bubbles depends on how the powder is mixed and have been able to get good dispersion without bubbles using cold water. If you try this, let the mixture sit and the bubbles will dissipate. Always use clean containers and utensils and use distilled water. Avoid contamination by portioning the methylcellulose into another container to use - the reference preparation will last indefinitely when stored at room temperature.

Something to try:
I found this somewhere on the Internet, but lost the source. Printing on concrete – a hybrid of frottage and stamping. Note – Roll ink across the surface of the paper (as in frottage). Could try this with other high surface items.
Prepare the Paper: Use printmaking paper. Dampen the paper evenly by misting or submerging it in water. Blot off excess water until the paper is evenly damp.
Prepare the Concrete: Use a clean, relatively smooth, and flat concrete surface.
Lay the Paper: Place the damp paper on the concrete surface carefully, avoiding air bubbles or creases.
Tamp the Paper Down: Use a clean, wide brush to gently tamp or pat the paper to ensure even contact with the concrete.
Apply the Ink: Prepare screen printing ink and a brayer. Evenly roll out the ink. Apply the ink across the dampened paper using even pressure. Repeat the rolling process for the desired ink coverage.
Remove the Print: Carefully peel the paper off the concrete, lifting it straight up to avoid smudging.
Drying: Lay the printed paper flat or hang it to dry
